Join us for a two-hour Trail Safety & Self-Defense Workshop designed for women and outdoor enthusiasts who want practical skills they can actually use—on the trail and in everyday life.
This workshop blends trail safety education with hands-on self-defense training, focusing on awareness, prevention, and simple, effective techniques.

Expert-Led, Hands-On Training
This workshop includes hands-on self-defense instruction led by an experienced martial arts instructor, guiding participants through foundational techniques in a safe, supportive environment.
You’ll practice:

- Skills that are easy to remember and realistic to apply
No prior martial arts or fitness experience is required.

Do I need any prior self-defense or martial arts experience?
No. This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for all experience and fitness levels.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Athletic shoes are recommended.
Is this class physically intense?
No. The focus is on awareness, technique, and confidence—not strength or aggression. Movements are scalable and taught at a comfortable pace.
Will there be hands-on practice?
Yes. The self-defense portion includes guided, hands-on practice led by an expert martial arts instructor in a safe and supportive setting.
Is this only for hikers?
Not at all. While examples may include trail scenarios, the skills taught apply to everyday life as well.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available at the community building.
What is your refund policy?
Because space is limited, all registrations are non-refundable. If the event fills, a waitlist may be available.
